“La luna representa mi corazón” is selected in “International Competition” of Visions du Réel 2021!

We participated this film as co-production in Taiwanese side since 2020, and the film is selected in the main competition which only selected 13 films from over 3000 submission! The 52nd edition of the fesival will be held online from 15th to 25th April. “The Moon Represents My Heart” will be screened on 22nd and 25th April.

The title “La luna representa mi corazón” is from the famous song in Chinese world, singing by Teresa Teng. The filmmaker, the second generation of Taiwanese immigrants in Argentina, steps on the journey of meeting his mother who left Argentina and was back in Taiwan decades ago. Through an intimate form mixed with self-documentary and fiction part, between two journeys in 2012 and 2019, the film portrays the meaning of a immigrant family and the brave impression of a mother.
